Who We Are
LINKgear develops, produces, and markets products to those consumers engaged in recreation and sports activities. The product line is targeted to all consumers, generally and specifically to those who incorporate their recreation and gear into their daily lives and lifestyle.
Phase 1 Goal
Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for field testing prior to full production run.
What We Need
We are looking to engage a US-based manufacturer for an NPD project to bring a patented product in the recreation/sports space to market. The ideal partner will be a one-stop shop for the services required or one that is strongly aligned with another US-based company(ies) to provide seamless service delivery.

Experience with footwear and/or footwear component design and materials is not necessary but could be beneficial, as would expert knowledge of urethanes and synthetic/ natural rubber composites.
Services Required
Design Refinement
This product requires design input from the manufacturer to refine our initial prototype and produce a limited initial run for product testing purposes prior to full production.

Input from the world of shoe design has informed sizing strategy and provided background for materials and structure consultation with mold designers.
Mold/Tooling Design and Manufacturing
The full product line will require multiple single or family molds with a preference for US- or European-sourced mold material.
Mold/Tooling Processing
This product will require processing using over-mold or other methods to achieve design and performance optimization. We are interested in working with a manufacturer who produces highly engineered injection-molded consumer products using the latest technologies, materials, and equipment in injection molding.
Material Requirements

All, or the majority of product components, will be sourced in the US.

Some or all materials or composite components used should be natural materials or materials manufactured using sustainable methods and eco-friendly throughout the material lifecycle.

Material options include natural or recycled rubber, sustainable compounds, and fillers, or urethanes to achieve optimal durability, flexibility, and elasticity.
